anarcrust cookbook
Last year, when my sister-in-law approached me about creating a cookbook for my brother-in-law's 40th birthday, I eagerly jumped on board. Initially planning something straightforward, I saw the chance to craft a truly memorable gift. Given our shared punk backgrounds, I conceived a theme for the cookbook that cleverly riffed on the infamous Anarchist Cookbook, blending it with the iconic vibe of the band Crass. All the recipes featured in this unique cookbook hail from his circle of friends and family. To add an interactive touch, alongside the cookbook, we included a small polaroid-style camera. This allowed him to snap photos of the completed recipes and affix them onto designated spots in the book – a personal touch to mark each culinary adventure.
